Gap year is an NGO that aims to promote international volunteer opportunities and an active participation in aid projects.Gap year recognizes the importance of integrating volunteers in development projects, as an additional resource, next to local staff.
The International volunteer service, through mutual acceptance and understanding, strengthens tolerance, solidarity and contributes to create a net of relationships between people belonging to different cultures. Gap year offers the opportunity to carry out both short and long term volunteer experiences in South America, India and Africa, in development projects of partner organizations.
Gap year provides information, selects and supports before the departure, those who want to become a volunteer. Each volunteer can give his/her contribution according to their personal abilities, study and work experience.
Gap Year has no religious or political affiliation.
